PAUL TYLOCK
As a lifelong resident of the Lafayette area, real estate is more than just my profession — it’s deeply personal. Over the past 10 years, I’ve helped more than 400 families buy and sell homes, with over $100 million in closed sales volume. After walking through thousands of homes over the last decade and learning what my clients like and don't like, the vision became clear for M0dara Place.
I’ve had the privilege of leading several real estate projects across Lafayette, but Modera Place stands out as the crown jewel. From concept to construction, this community was designed to raise the bar for short and midterm rentals in our region. I saw a gap in the market — we needed properties that felt more like home than a temporary stay — and filled it with luxury townhomes that blend high-end finishes with real comfort.
At Modera Place, every detail reflects that mission. Whether you're staying a few weeks or a few years, I believe you deserve a space that feels welcoming, elevated, and well-crafted — not like a rental, but like home.
And while I take my work seriously, I don't take myself too seriously. I'm a bit of a goofball at heart, which usually means working with me comes with a few laughs, some honest advice, and a refreshingly relaxed experience —especially at Modera Place. The name “Modera” in certain languages means to soothe, which felt fitting. Between the finishes, the furniture, and the peaceful vibe, I wanted this place to feel like the spa version of a rental... minus the cucumber water :)
JESSE REGAN
A born leader with an entrepreneurial spirit, Jesse Regan began traveling for his father's business at the young age of 17 and hasn't stopped working since.
After buying his first house in 2004, he decided to try his hand at the lending business and has been a mortgage lender ever since. He's also a partner in three other local businesses, bringing his talent for project management, organization, and motivating others to the table.
At Preferred Lending Solutions, Jesse specializes in residential home loans alongside 14 other mortgage professionals. With a main office in Lafayette, LA, this business has experienced healthy growth with good market share in all of Acadiana and has expanded to Texas, Arkansas, Colorado, and New Mexico.
In 2008, Regan became co-owner of The Madison Banquet & Reception Centre. Hosting corporate events and weddings, this Broussard venue can accommodate both large and small groups and is known for its customer service.
Jesse founded DJD Development Group with two partners in 2011, bringing his lending knowledge to an industrial development firm.
The city of Broussard is where Jesse makes his home, and it's also where he's chosen to do business. With a focus on hospitality, he shines at customer service—whether it be helping a family buy their first house or plan a successful event.
As a husband and father of three, community involvement is vital to Jesse. At the end of the day, Jesse takes pride in his family, his work ethic, and the community he calls home.
